Happy Mother's Day
As Mother’s Day approaches, I find myself reflecting on the silent strength, endless love, and quiet sacrifices that only a mother can give. This deep reflection gave birth to my newest original composition: “My Mother’s Arms.” It is a song of memory, gratitude, and undying connection—one that pays tribute to every mother who held our hands through chaos and kissed away our pain.

A Song Inspired by Real Love
“My Mother’s Arms” was written straight from the depths of my heart. It began as a whisper of longing—memories of laughter, of warmth, of being embraced when the world felt cold. As I wrote the first lines:
“Woke up today with you on my mind
The years have gone but you're a star that shines...”
I realized I wasn’t just writing about my own mother. I was speaking for countless sons and daughters who continue to carry their mother’s love wherever they go. For some of us, she may no longer be by our side physically, but her presence lives in every choice we make, in every dream we chase, and in every soft corner of our hearts.

A Mother's Touch, A Lifetime of Comfort
Each verse of the song captures moments we often take for granted—her steady hands when we were scared, her unconditional love through our mistakes, and the quiet strength behind every sacrifice she made.
“Your laugh
Your touch
The wisdom you shared...”
I wanted to preserve those simple but powerful truths. Because behind every scraped knee and broken heart, there was always a mother—ready to hold us, guide us, and remind us that we were never truly alone.
A Universal Message Wrapped in Melody
The chorus became the soul of the song:
“In my mother’s arms
I found my home
A place where I was never alone...”
Whether you grew up in the city, the countryside, in wealth or in struggle—this feeling is universal. The sense of safety, of belonging, of being someone’s whole world. That’s what “My Mother’s Arms” is about. It’s a reminder of that one place that never fades—our mother’s love.
A Personal Gift to All Mothers
This song is more than a melody. It is my personal love letter, not just to my mother, but to all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmoms, and mother figures out there. For the hugs, the sleepless nights, the lullabies, the guidance, and even the silent tears they shed behind closed doors—we honor you.
This Mother's Day, may we not only give flowers and cards but also offer something deeper: our time, our words, and our appreciation.
💐 Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers out there. May you always feel the love you so freely give.
With love and music,
Belle Janohan
